Australian Paralympic Basketball

What a special treat for the year 6s today. Chris and Gaz from the Essendon Football Wheelchair club and Mel, an Australian Paralympic Basketball 🏀 champion came to visit.

Mel brought along her silver and bronze medals from the Athens and Beijing Olympic Games. Not only are they incredible athletes but they are the most wonderful and grounded humans. Thank you so much for your time today. We are privileged at MPS to meet such amazing individuals all in the name of sport.

Freedom Sports Wheelchair Footy

We were so lucky to have Chris and Mitch from the Essendon Football Club wheelchair team at MPS last week. All year 3 - 6 classes had their P.E session with Freedom Sports - Wheelchair Footy. We can’t wait to do it all again at our Footy Day in September. 🏉 ♿️
