Over the past few weeks, our Hospitality students in Years 10, 11, and 12 have been busy refining their culinary skills, preparing impressive dishes that bring them one step closer to completing their hospitality certificates. Year 10s Master the Art of Minestrone
Year 10 Certificate I Hospitality students prepared a hearty and nutritious minestrone soup from scratch as part of their practical exam. This assessment was not just about following a recipe—it challenged students to demonstrate their understanding of food preparation techniques, time management, and the nutritional value of ingredients.
Year 11s Impress with a Delicious Staff Morning Tea
As part of their Certificate III in Hospitality, our Year 11 students recently put their skills to the test by preparing a delicious morning tea for staff. The spread featured an array of beautifully presented treats, including homemade quiches, sweets, fresh fruit, and more—each dish thoughtfully crafted to showcase their growing expertise.
Year 12s Impress with an Italian-Inspired Three-Course Feast
As part of their Certificate III in Hospitality, our Year 12 students recently showcased their expertise by hosting a special Italian-themed lunch for family and friends. From antipasto to dessert, they prepared and served a delicious three-course meal, demonstrating their advanced culinary skills, attention to detail, and professionalism in a real-world setting.
