A Message from Keir and Emma

“We would like to acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people, the first people to dream, create, wonder, dance, play and learn on this breathtaking land. This land was cared for and respected for tens of thousands of years. The First Nations people lived in companionship with the animals and the life on this land. We acknowledge that this is stolen land and we pay our respects to elders, past, present and emerging.”

Education Sub-Committee

The BNWPS Education Sub-Committee will hold its first meeting of the year on Thursday, March 20th. This committee, made up of parents and teachers, collaborates to develop proposals and make recommendations that enhance student learning and wellbeing.

In 2024, the committee played an important role in shaping our school by providing feedback on reporting system changes, collaborating with leadership on the strategic plan, and reviewing whole-school data on students' perceptions of school. We’re excited to continue making a meaningful impact in 2025.

We are always eager to welcome new members. BNWPS is a diverse community, and we would love for our committee to reflect this diversity. This year, meetings will be held online twice per term on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.

If you're interested in joining, please contact Emma at emma.mallia@education.vic.gov.au

Senior Camp

We wish all of our senior students, and the staff and parents/carers who are attending a fantastic and fun camp in Sovereign Hill. The weather looks like it is going to be lovely - we are sure you will have a great time and we can’t wait to hear your camp stories when you come back!

Please remember that with so many staff attending the camp, there will be changes and interruptions to class and ESS timetable during the week. Please send your child’s teacher a message through Sentral if you have any questions or concerns.
