Happy Term One to our John Fawkner Community!

Congratulations to our Graduation Class of 2024. All transitioning into work, further studies at Tafe and Universities, Traineeships and Apprenticeships.

This year along with our Year 11 and 12 VCE Vocational Major Classes completing a Vocational Educational Training Course. We have representatives from Year 10 completing Women in Trade and Tradie Taster at the Outer Northern Trade Training Centre. These courses are designed to introduce our students to a practical based hands-on course where they experience VET education. All our VET students are to be commended in their commitment and representation of our school. The feedback from our VET cluster is nothing but impressive. Well Done! 😊

I am also proud to say that in the ten years I have been at John Fawkner this is the largest group of students completing a VET.

Our current Year 12 students had the opportunity to spend the day at La Trobe University completing team building activities and study skill sessions. It gave them a real insight into University learning.

It’s great to have so many students from all year levels already talking about their pathways and career choices. Please pop into the Career Hub and check out the resources available to you all.
