Grade 6 Leaders Weekly Report

Dear Leongatha Primary School Community,
The Grade 6 Leaders are excited to share an update on the work we have begun to help make Leongatha Primary School the best possible version of itself.
We recently met with Mr Ford to officially commence our leadership work for the year. During this meeting, we had a powerful brainstorming session and discussed ways we can make a positive difference across our school.
Our main focus is clear: stopping bullying in its tracks and encouraging every student to be an upstander rather than a bystander. We believe that when everyone stands up for each other, our school becomes an even safer, kinder, and more inclusive place.
So far, we have:
- Met with the Grade 6 cohort to share ideas and gather feedback.
- Spoken with the Grade 5 cohort to hear their thoughts and suggestions.
Planned to meet with the Grade 4 cohort this week to continue collecting ideas and simple, practical steps we can put into place.
We are listening carefully to student voice across the school because we know that real change happens when everyone works together. Our goal is to create clear, simple actions that will help eliminate bullying from our beautiful school.
We are proud to represent our school community and are looking forward to keeping you posted as our plans continue to develop.
Kind regards,
The Grade 6 Leaders
