Thank you to our families for your generous support of Project Compassion on Thursday. Our Mary MacKillop Leaders carefully collected and counted the donations this morning, showing great responsibility and care. We raised $403.00
In the spirit of St Joseph, we are reminded of the importance of quietly caring for others and responding with love. Your generosity reflects this beautifully, helping us support those in need beyond our community.
Thank you for being part of this shared act of kindness and compassion.

You’re warmly invited to join us for our Holy Week presentations. Our students have been preparing meaningful reflections and presentations to share the story of Holy Week and what it means for us today.
We would love for our families to be part of this special time as we gather in prayer and reflection together. We hope you can join us.

Although we hold our Harmony Day ceremony and parade every second year, this did not stop our learning and reflection across the school.
Students took time to pray for peace in our world, especially in times where unity and understanding are needed most.
Through our People, Places and Purpose learning, students explored community and perspectives - discovering that communities are shaped by many different stories, cultures and experiences. They learned that people can experience the same event in different ways, and that listening to others helps us better understand the world around us.

In Religious Education, students reflected on what makes a strong community of believers - one built on love, respect and inclusion.

Through LOTE, Rosaria explored this year’s Harmony Day theme, “Culture Connects Us All – We All Have a Story to Tell,” inviting students to share their own family stories and celebrate their identity.

This term’s focus on community and perspectives continues to deepen students’ understanding of inclusion, acceptance and belonging - reminding us that everyone has a place and a story that matters.

This semester, there will be some changes to your child’s school report. These updates align with guidelines from the Victorian Catholic Education Authority (VCEA), which sets expectations for how Catholic schools assess and report student learning across Victoria.
The purpose of these changes is to make reports clearer, more informative and easier for parents to understand. They are designed to:
better reflect the learning completed throughout the semester
Each learning area will now include specific learning outcomes that are linked directly to the curriculum for your child’s year level.
Students will be assessed against these outcomes using a five-point scale:
Well above expected standard
As part of these changes, the previous sections such as “Achievements,” “Areas for Improvement,” and “What You Can Do at Home” will no longer be included.
We believe these updates will make reports more straightforward and meaningful for families, providing a clearer picture of your child’s learning and progress. We will continue to provide updates throughout the semester to keep you fully informed about the changes to reporting.
