Stage 3 students were excited to welcome local Firefighters for an incursion focused on fire safety. The visit was extra special, as our former teacher Mr Doyle and his crew led the session.
Students learned important tips about preventing fires, what to do in an emergency, and had the chance to ask questions and explore some of the firefighters’ equipment.
Thank you to Mr Doyle and the crew for sharing their knowledge and inspiring our students to stay safe.
Check out some photos from the day below!

Yesterday, our Stage 2 students participated in an incursion. Please find below some recounts by our Year 3 and 4 students.
This report is about an incursion called 'The Human Race' that Stage 2 students participated in. I liked it because it taught me that positive feelings will feel better than negative feelings. At first, the performers said the acknowledgement of country. Soon, the actors got into a story. It was about a girl called Deedee, her best friend Kim, a bullied boy called Dunk and a bully called Kane. When Deedee got dumped by her friend Kim, she meets Dunk. Kim partners up with Kane and cheats the whole way through. Deedee and Dunk, on the other hand, decide not to cheat and end up representing Australia. The performers paused for comments about bullies and we all sang about the human race. At the end, it was running late into lunch but I didn't mind because it was worth it.

Yesterday we had The Human Race show. It was fun and we enjoyed it. We learned that you should not bully and keep mean words in your mind. You have to be nice otherwise no one will be your friend. The show was also very humorous and educational. Now that we saw The Human Race show, we hope that everyone will be nice.

The drama incursion was funny and engaging. It taught us to be kind to everyone.
- Jacob Z, Eucalyptus 3
The song that they sang was engaging. I learnt how to ensure everyone is safe and to be safe online.

This Term we are inviting parents and carers to participate in the NSW Public Schools Parent Survey. The survey gives you the opportunity to share your experience at our school, including communication, inclusion, wellbeing and how your child’s learning is supported. Hearing directly from our parents and carers will help us understand what’s working well and where improvements can be made. Participation in the survey is optional, your responses are anonymous, and it takes around 10 to 15 minutes to complete. You can access the survey at https://surveyme.education.nsw.gov.au/sc/yVMnz8NZI9d2u1h2YMo6Pw2
