Doo Dah and Donations for ASRCs Food Bank
At the close of each term, our wonderful parent volunteers put on the Doo Dah lunch for all children at Arlington. In this same spirit of generosity, we are asking our community to Pay it Forward, and consider contributing to the Asylum Seeker Resource Center's food bank. Please see the urgently needed items list. All contributions can be placed in the basket outside of the Kevin Borland Hall.

Big Day In & Art Exhibition
We are hosting the final Big Day In next week, which will be in the Sunroom. Arlington musicians will share their music with children and families from 2.30.
Also on that afternoon, the Kevin Borland Hall will host an exhibition of our children's artworks. Included in this exhibition will be the work of the Sunroom children who have been working in the design realm, considering replacements for the Mount Street fence. The exhibition will be open until the morning of Friday 8 December.

Summer Sol & 90th Birthday Celebration

Get your party dress ironed, and your fancy pants belted because we are celebrating 90 years of our wonderful Preshil. The Summer Sol celebration is to be held on the Blackhall Kalimna front lawns, and will be a feast of music, games, and feasting.
This event will be fully catered, with dietary requirements covered (for the most part) with families invited to BYO drinks and picnic rugs.
Semester Reports
We will be publishing Semester Reports on Tuesday, 12 December, our final day of school. We remind families to download a copy of the report, from Compass, for your records.
Tuesday 12 December
Year Six Graduation
On the final day of school, our Year Six students will share in a small graduation ceremony.
Preshil Holiday Dates
The final day for the year, for children, is Tuesday 12 December, with the day ending at the usual times. The school administration and leadership will continue to work through until Tuesday, 19 December, and then shut down for a period, reopening on Monday, 15 January. These dates are all viewable on the Compass Calendar.
