Foundation Cluster News Term 4 Week 9

Prayer

Dear God,

Thank you for an amazing year with our students. Please be with all of us as we head into Christmas and please be with us as we end the term. Amen

Thank you:

It has been great getting to know you and we really appreciate your love and support throughout the whole year. Thank you for trusting us with your children as they started their school journey. We have loved getting to know them and seeing them grow. They have all come so far this year and you should all be proud. Don’t forget our door is always open for a chat so don’t be a stranger next year.

Wednesday 13th final day

Students last day is Wednesday the 13th of December. Students will be finishing at normal time of 3.07 and closing chapel is at 2.00pm. You are more than welcome to come and join us.

Morning tea Tuesday 12th

The students have worked hard this term to fill up our class reward jar. To end this year off they have asked for a class party. On Tuesday we will have a morning tea could boys bring a savory plate and girls bring a sweet plate to share. We do not have any allergies but if you have something that you are worried about please let us know. We will have this before recess so students will not need to have a recess snack on this day.

P&F Funday

Reminder on Tuesday the 12th we will be having a fun day thanks to P&F. Students will be allocated a time to engage in the activities and then they will be having a sausage and icy pole for lunch. If your child does not like sausage or will not eat it, please make sure they have something else in their lunch box.

Rest and play:

It is going to be a big week with Swimming so for home learning they can rest and play.

Christmas Cards:

If your child has cards they have written please get them to give them to us at the start of the day and we will get them to hand them out at the end of the day.

2024 new Foundation visits:

On Monday the 11th December the current Foundations moving up to Year 1 in 2024 will be starting their day off in the Fellowship centre. Please bring them and their school bag to the Fellowship centre from 8.30am. They are not to go to our Foundation classroom. They will be in there until recess and as a group will bring items back to our Foundation classroom after recess.

Take home books:

Please return the take home book pouch and their take home books to school. Students will not be taking home any take home books or interest books in Week 8. Their take home pouch will stay at school and be given to their new teacher. Please ensure all books are brought back and their take home pouch is brought back too.

Library books:

If your child did not return their books, please start sending them back ASAP. Please make sure you check toddle for the ones who needed books to be returned.

Books:

We will be sending books and craft home in take home folders in Week 8. Please take everything out of the take home pouches each night to ensure they don’t keep bringing them back to school. Please note some items will be kept at school and moved up into new classes.

Keep smiling,

Celeste and Emma
