Camp Australia

Dear Families,

Don’t forget the pupil free day on Monday 11th December.  We are running a program from 7am to 6pm.  You can book through your parent portal.  We will provide breakfast and afternoon tea and activities and games throughout the day.   Also bring a hat!

Our camping week was fun, we made a campfire for story time, a lantern to light our way and we also had our camping Lego challenge. The children made different parts of a campsite and we joined them together to make our campsite, complete with fire, BBQ, toilet and shower block, tents and a garden to enjoy.

This week we celebrated our community helpers.  We made our community helper hats, paddle pop puppets and our Lego challenge was to build something from our community such as a school, fire station or supermarket.

The activities we have coming up until the end of the year are Around The World where we check our knowledge about the wonders of the world, learn how to say ‘Hello’ in different languages and see where our neighbourhood fits within the world around us.

Also with Christmas just around the corner we end the year with Christmas crafts where we can make decorations and gifts to share with our loved ones.

Enjoy the weekend and we will see you next week!
