Mark Alexander - SIS and Sports  Actives Co-Ordinator

Finishing up the year in Term 4 St Johns was involved in plenty of SIS weekly sports including: Junior Boys Indoor Cricket (Mr Eamonn Farrelly) and Intermediate Girls Basketball (Mr Paul O’Loughlin). Once again St Johns were part of some amazing results including winning pennants for the Junior Girls Basketball squad (Ms Tarryn Willder) and Junior Boys Basketball squad (Mr Paul Colvin). Also Tyler Halls Ferguson was able to bring home the pennant with the help from Mr Tim Hogan for the SIS Intermediate Boys Basketball team.

This was a first pennant as coach for Mr Tim Hogan and he was very proud of what his team had been able to accomplish going undefeated for the season.

Well done to all teams for putting in a massive effort to represent the college with pride and honor in the sports. On Friday the junior and intermediate year levels also participated in the St Johns Sport Bonanza gaining the first points for their houses in a chance to win the 2024 House championship cup.

Planning for 2024 has begun for SIS Weekly sports and the following sports are available for Term 1 next year, so please keep an eye out early for team training, sign ups and announcements.
