Middle School

As we come to the end of the year, I take this opportunity to thank our students for their hard work and dedication to their learning and wellbeing. You have worked incredibly over the year, achieving success in many ways, challenged yourself and stepped out of your comfort zone. Be proud of your achievements and strive for goals next year.

To our parents, I thank you for your commitment to your child’s learning journey, for the support of our staff and working together to achieve the best for your child.

To our dedicated teaching staff, your dedication to our students and ensuring they achieve their best is appreciated. You look out for not only their learning journey, but their wellbeing and development as a whole.

Finally, to our Year 9 leadership team, you have represented our school in a positive way, brought new ideas and initiatives and led the Middle School with confidence, positivity and enthusiasm. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to being a member of the leadership team and making your mark on Oakleigh Grammar.

To finish off the year, our students all participated in a Pastoral Day, allowing students to celebrate their achievements, spend time together as a cohort and have some well deserved fun! Our Year 6s headed off to Dandenong Market to make hampers for those in need, Year 7s spent their day bowling and Year 8s had a great time at Bounce. Year 9s spent the day out as part of their Head Start program with the Senior School.

I wish all of our families a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. May your holidays be filled with relaxation, laughter and love. Enjoy this time with your families and loved ones. I look forward to seeing you in 2024.
