End of Year Concert

Next Tuesday night, 12th December, is our End of Year Concert, which will be held at the Senior Campus, with the concert commencing at 7.00pm. All is set for what should be a terrific night.  The students have been practising with their teachers and are ready for their performances. A reminder that students sit with their classes for the duration of the concert and require a water bottle and jacket if weather is cool.  We strongly ask all audience members to be considerate of others around them and not talk during the performances.  Families are welcome to bring a picnic dinner, to eat prior to the concert, as there won't be any food or drinks sold on the night. Of course, we welcome siblings to watch the concert however we ask them to be respectful and sit with their families throughout the concert. There is to be no ball games on the school grounds between 5.00pm – 9.00pm.  For audience members we will section off areas for people with chairs and other areas for those sitting on blankets to maximise performance viewing for all. We request that as this is a primary school concert that it is alcohol free.

Dogs in School Grounds

Parents are reminded that dogs are not allowed in school grounds whilst dropping off or collecting children. We ask that families please leave their pet dogs at home or safely tether them outside school grounds when attending our school or school events. This is a safety measure to protect both students (and dogs) from the excitement of these times.

Parent Helpers’ Morning Tea

A reminder that this Friday, 8th December at 10.30am we will be holding our 'Parent Helpers Thank You Morning Tea' in the MPC at the Senior Campus.  The morning tea will commence at the conclusion of our Year 6 Billy Cart Grand Prix. Our staff greatly value the amazing support we receive from our Parent and Community members. This morning tea is just a small way for the staff to say “Thank You” and show how much we appreciate the hard work of so many in our school community.

Bayside Dance Off

Last week, five of our students competed in the Bayside Dance Off. Their task was to choreograph and perform their own dances which they performed at Hampton Primary School against a number of other schools in the area. There was lots of competition but the students performed incredibly well and had a fantastic time! Congratulations to Maggie, Annie, Charlie, Amelia, and Sophie. Looking forward to next year!

Wishing our families who celebrate Chanukah a joyful and happy celebration!
