Happy Week 8 everybody.
With Year 12s finished after their warm, but lovely graduation last week, and Year 10s and 11s out the door this week, we have just the junior school on the grounds for the last two weeks. This means less lines at tuckshop and more space to roam and claim in the playground.
The end of the year also indicates time to think about uniform for next year. Our uniform review committee continues to work on our response to the survey. P&C has been given the committee’s recommendations and will be putting together a policy update for the new year. As any uniform change has a 3 year phase in period, and there are no current major uniform changes on the cards, please book into the uniform shop for fittings for 2024.
The junior awards are next week, so hope to speak to many junior school parents there. It’s a great way to celebrate kids in all areas of study and school activity participation. Its also a great way to find out what else is on offer at the school that you hadn’t realised was there.
Hoping everyone is starting to celebrate getting to the end of the first year where pandemic wasn’t the main news story or overshadowing every event. There are still many world events that are harrowing and could give rise to anxiety in teenage lives. Be gentle with each other.
