It’s been a busy fortnight in PE at Rangeview! Here are some of the highlights.

State Softball Final

Congratulations to our Boys and Girls teams who competed at the State Finals on Monday. After a tremendous softball season, both teams qualified in the final eight in Victoria out of over 2500 schools across the State.

There was phenomenal skill on display from all teams across the day, but Team Rangeview’s sportsmanship, positivity and skill were truly admirable. These two teams have left a terrific legacy for the sport.

Our Boys, after three close wins in the group stage, managed to make the Grand Final, narrowly going down and finishing 2nd in the State as Runners Up. The Girls, after two close losses and a great win, finished 4th overall in the State.

We are so proud of this achievement. Thank you to all the families who supported the students on the day!

State Basketball & Volleyball Finals

Team Rangeview has been in action this week at the Victorian SSV State Finals, after progressing impressively through District, Division, and Regional competitions.

Throughout the Summer Sports season, both teams demonstrated high-level skills, teamwork, and fairness, which helped them earn their place among the final eight teams in Victoria out of over 2500 schools.

We are incredibly proud of the effort, determination, and commitment they showed in their training and in the lead-up to the day.

Australian Softball Finals

Congratulations to Leo and Archie in Level 6, who competed in the National Softball Competition representing Team Victoria last week in Sydney. Both boys played exceptionally well, representing their school and state with great pride. Victoria finished 3rd overall, and we are incredibly proud of the journey these boys have been on. A special mention to Leo, who did a tremendous job as the Victorian Captain!
