Ag Advisory Committee
The Agricultural Advisory Committee is a group of respected farmers and industry practitioners who provide advice on how best to run our College Farm to ensure that we offer a learning environment closely aligned with real industry. Members are selected based on their industry experience and aligned with the enterprises we run at the College. We are seeking additional expertise in agriculture and sheep. If you have experience in either area and an interest in finding out more, please contact me.
Farewell Year 10s
I wish our Year 10s a safe and enjoyable work experience next week. Work experience is highly valuable, providing students with insight into real workplace environments. It also plays an important role in helping students develop networks with potential employers, and we often find that employers use this opportunity to assess future employees.
Student Behaviour
Recently, we have been alerted to some bullying behaviours among students, which we have been able to address. In some cases, these behaviours occurred some time ago, making them difficult to investigate and resolve. We do not tolerate bullying in any form, but we need to be informed as soon as possible so we can intervene early.
We understand that students and parents may hesitate to report concerns because they worry that things may worsen for their child. However, by letting us know early, we can monitor the situation and address the behaviour appropriately, often without the protagonist knowing the source of the information.
Have a great weekend
