Stage 1 Science Excursion

Last week our Stage 1 students turned Jubilee Park into their very own Science laboratory. They participated in an excursion to support their learning in Science - Physical World.

Students have been learning about the forces of pushes, pulls and gravity in Science and were able to investigate the forces in action in the equpiment at Jubilee Park. 

They observed how they needed to push a swing to make it go higher or pull a friend on the roundabout to make it spin. They saw gravity in action as they rolled balls down a hill and experienced it firsthand as they slid down the slide.
