Carols  by Candlelight

Thank you for your wonderful support for our special evening.  We have a wonderful group of students who are singing their hearts out!  I tell them they sound just like angels!

Year 6 students are taking a greater role in the Carols this year. Ms Sonego has developed a script for the development of the Christmas story.

All costumes for our angels and shepherds in Kindergarten are provided by the school.  

A bell is rung on the evening and all students come to the Kindergarten room while families go to the hall.  We will cover their 'normal' clothes with Shepherd and Angel costumes that are shifts that pop over the top.  Angels will have a tinsel wreath on their heads, shepherds will have their head cloths attached also.

Children will be given their candles for their evening.

Please remember if you would like to buy your candle these will be on sale on the evening. All monies will go to the Mini Vinnies Christmas Hampers.

All other students wear casual clothes with a Christmas Theme.  This may include earrings for the girls, special Christmas shirts etc.  Please note that large hats could hide students behind them from being seen, so please keep these to a reasonable size.

You will have seen in the Canteen section of our newsletter that dinner from the BBQ can be preordered for all your special visitors.

I am sure Santa will also be getting excited about our Carols by Candlelight because he always turns up for this special evening!

As we come towards the close of our school year please keep an eye on our calendar and join us in all our special events.

Promotional Video

Our school will be buzzing next week on Tuesday and Wednesday - 2nd and 3rd December.  We are filming a promotional video of our school to share with our community and through our usual channels.

Our school, as you already know, is a beautiful school and we continue to share that throughout our community and beyond.

We are incredibly proud of what we have to offer at St Joseph's School!

We are also incredibly proud to show off what our children are able to achieve here, and the wonderful support our children receive in their wellbeing and their learning.
