Literacy

Last week, our Year 2 students completed their final lesson of UFLI! They are our first cohort to complete the program in its entirety, from Prep through to Year 2. They are more confident spellers, write with well formed letters, and have learnt many challenging words this year. They are now looking forward to the challenges of Year 3.

Wellbeing

To finish the year in Wellbeing, we have been learning about the importance of empathy and sympathy. With Christmas fast approaching, we planned ways to show forgiveness and kindness.

Christmas Clubs

We began our Christmas Clubs this week and we are completing different activities across the Year 1 and 2 classrooms. It is a lot of fun as our students move to different classrooms and spend time with other teachers, while completing Christmas craft.

Stepping Up

There is always excitement and nerves, teachers included, as we head into our Stepping Up session. It is always great to meet our new teachers, classmates, and visit new classrooms. While we will miss our current group of students, we know that they will be in great hands for 2026!
