Christmas Concert
Our Christmas Concert was a truly special celebration for our school community, filled with joy, music, and festive spirit. A heartfelt thank you goes to Mrs Smith for her wonderful coordination of the event. Her dedication and creativity ensured that every part of the evening came together beautifully. It was fantastic to see each grade performing with such confidence and enthusiasm, including our wonderful Prep students, who took to the stage for their very first Christmas Concert. Our choir also showcased their talent with their uplifting performance. A real highlight for the night was our Year 6 students performing their original Prep song, “Santa, Wear Your Shorts!”, bringing smiles and nostalgia to everyone watching.
We would also like to thank Achala and Zoe for their fantastic work as MCs. Their warmth and confidence helped the evening flow seamlessly and added to the welcoming atmosphere. To all our parents, families, and community members, thank you for joining us and supporting the students. Your presence made the night even more memorable.
A big thank you as well to TheirCare for providing the BBQ, adding to the festive feel and supporting our school through an additional fundraiser. It was a wonderful night of celebration, and we are grateful to everyone who contributed to its success.

Featuring Mrs Macrae and Mrs Cooper testing our speakers!
Art Show
A big thank you to Mrs Baum for putting together our wonderful Art Show. We truly appreciate the time, care, and creativity she put into displaying the students’ work so beautifully. We hope you enjoyed walking through the gallery and seeing the amazing artworks our students have created this year. It was a lovely opportunity to celebrate their talent and effort.
Reports
I would like to take a moment to thank all of our students for their amazing efforts throughout the year. They have worked hard, shown resilience, and continued to grow in so many ways. Our teachers have also been working diligently to finalise student reports, ensuring they reflect each child’s achievements and progress. These reports will go live on Compass on Tuesday, 16th December. We are incredibly proud of everything our students have accomplished and look forward to celebrating their continued success.
Curriculum Days 2026
We are pleased to share our scheduled Curriculum Days for 2026. These days are important for staff to engage in professional learning, planning, and collaboration, helping us continue to provide the best possible learning experiences for our students. Please note that some of the Curriculum Days fall mid-week to coordinate with staff work schedules:
Tuesday, 27th January 2026 – First day of the school year
Tuesday, 26th May 2026
Wednesday, 26th August 2026
Monday, 7th December 2026
On these days, students do not attend school, so families are encouraged to make alternative care arrangements.
School Council 2026
Our School Council plays a vital role in shaping the direction of our school, supporting initiatives, and providing a voice for our parent community.
Key dates for 2026 include:
Monday, 17th February 2026 – Final meeting of the current School Council
Monday, 17th March 2026 – Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Each year in Term 1, we invite nominations for School Council membership. Serving on School Council is a rewarding way to contribute to our school community, help guide important decisions, and support programs that benefit all students. We encourage interested parents to consider nominating and sharing their ideas and expertise with the council.

Over the last few weeks, the Year 5/6 students have made and purchased items to sell at their bazaar. This will be held on Monday the 14th of December between recess and lunchtime. Entry is $2 and students from all year levels will have the chance to choose 3 items. All money will go to the Salvation Army, and of course, you can donate more than $2 if you wish.
All support will be very much appreciated and the Year 5/6 students are very excited to sell their items.
This term, the Junior School Council (JSC) will be once again fundraising for the Salvation Army. Therefore we are accepting the following:
Non - perishable foods.
New toys.
Monetary donations.
This is a wonderful opportunity to support families in need this Christmas.
Thank you from the Junior School Council.
If you have any unused State Schools' Relief (SSR) vouchers, please take them directly to Spartan School World to use to purchase uniform.
If your voucher/s have expired, please contact the school office to have them re-issued.
