Wellbeing

Celebrating success at the end of the year.

Success and meeting goals is acknowledged and celebrated with each of our students regularly throughout the year and takes many forms. It may be a certificate at assembly for completing a detailed writing piece, verbal acknowledgement for showing kindness to another or a discreet thumbs up for being ready to learn.

Next week we will hold our annual awards ceremony. This is an opportunity to celebrate as a school some of our students individual achievements. While some children will be disappointed that they don't receive an award the award ceremony is a time where we can practise congratulating our friends.

At St Anne's we celebrate being your best not who is the best. Below are the selection criteria that are considered by teachers when considering who would be the most worthy replicant of each award.
