Parents & Friends Update

 

Welcome back to Term 2.

 

Easter Fundraisers

 

Firstly thank you to Katie Keating for leading the Easter Egg Raffle fundraiser, and her efforts to coordinate, collect, wrap and distribute all of the Easter Egg raffle prizes. Special mention to Vicki Letcher, Yvette Dugina and some St Mary's students for assisting with the event. 206 families supported this initiative this year, and for that we are very grateful.

  • There were 115 raffle prize winners
  • $3500 raised for our school community 
  • $400 monetary donation to St Vincent De Paul, plus a large tub of easter chocolates 

 

Thank you also to Roy and Sarah Dass for assisting with the hot cross bun drive, plus Yvette Dugina for the comms. Bakers Delight Ascot Vale and Showgrounds Village are always very supportive of our school events, so we were pleased to be able to return the favour. We also raised $368 towards our school community.

Thank you to the volunteers for each year level/class to be a point of contact and communication link between your Parents & Friends Committee and each year level. This will ensure that key information is relayed to keep everyone included and informed about our events and especially our main event…The Fiesta!!

*St Mary’s Disco* is back on *Friday 15th May* 🪩

 

A night of music, colour and dancing for the kids — and food sorted.

 

Food is included in your ticket

(Options include pizza, hot dog or gluten-free pizza)

 

*Juniors (Prep–3)* : 5.30–6.45pm

*Seniors (4–6):* 7.15–8.30pm

$12 per child | Family ticket (3+ kids): $30
