Students will attend Period 1 as normal, before the Games begin at 10.30am. The day includes a BBQ lunch at Bell Street, followed by a second activity session. Dismissal will be at 3.30pm from either Bell Street or the Hockey Centre.
Students should wear PE uniform and bring snacks, water, a hat and sunscreen. A BBQ lunch will be provided. Families are asked to notify the Senior School Office of any absences or early departures in advance.
We look forward to a fun and spirited day for all students.

The class looks forward to hearing from their audience how successfully they achieved their intentions.
When: Friday 10 April, 6.30-7.15pm, no cost

Catch-up Assessments
Students who miss in-class assessment tasks are reminded that catch-up sessions run from 3.00-4.00pm on Mondays and 3.45-4.45pm on Thursdays. Your teacher and/or tutor will let you know of expectations.
Academic Integrity
All students in Years 9-12 should now have completed the relevant academic integrity modules. These clearly outline expectations of students around academic honesty, referencing, collusion and use of genAI in assessment tasks. The modules for Years 11 and 12 are based on the expectations of TASC/IBO and are specific to your child’s academic pathway. As the workload increases through Terms 2 and 3, we encourage parents to speak with their children about the importance of academic honesty. The modules, and student responses, are available on SEQTA and can be viewed via the Tutor assessment.
Please contact Kate Baldry if you have any questions about these modules.
Uniform Reminder
Families are reminded that students are required to wear their Friends’ uniform each day. There are multiple options for both formal and sports uniform. It is important to be aware that non-uniform shorts, including blue branded or non-branded shorts, are not part of the uniform and students who arrive in these will be provided with uniform items to change into.
Please check the Uniform handbook for further information on acceptable items. The Uniform Shop is also able to assist.
Chamber Music Concert
Join us for an evening of collaborative music-making at The Friends’ School Chamber Music Concert on Tuesday 14 April. This 90-minute showcase highlights the dedication of our musicians from Years 5 to 12 performing in a range of small ensembles. From classical trios to contemporary quartets, the program features a rich mix of genres. Please come along to support our creative music students as they take to the stage and share their music with us all.
This is a free event and all are welcome to attend.
