Condor House Captains introduce themselves
Hi, my name is Ella and I’m from 6P and I am truly honoured to be your Conder House Captain for 2025. This year I hope I can help cement our core values, Confidence, Resilience, Respect and Persistence in our school community for generations to come. Somethings about me are, my favourite subjects are History and PE and out of school I love to swim, play basketball and hockey. Something I love about our school is its leadership program, allowing anyone to find confidence to speak to either their class or even at assembly. Condor hasn’t won in ages and wont it be nice to hang that trophy up in the end of the year... trust me who wouldn’t like it.
GO CONDER!!!
Hi I’m Sonny your Conder House Captain for 2025. My hobbies are playing basketball, soccer and video games. What I like about our Ivanhoe Primary School is that wherever I go there’s a positive environment where kids are being inclusive and having fun. This year I strongly believe that Conder are going to be the champions!
Good morning students, staff and parents of I.P.S. My name is Simon, and I'll be your Condor House captain for 2025.
At school I my favourite subjects are reading, art, math, and science. Outside of school I enjoy playing badminton, spending time with my friends and Scouts.
So, Condor, follow the school values and lead us to success!
GO CONDOR!
Good morning, students, staff, and parents of IPS.
My name is Aryana, and I am extremely excited to be your Condor vice-captain for 2025.
A couple things about me are, my favourite subjects are reading, music and art.
Some of my hobbies include dancing, singing, and hanging out with friends and family.
A few things that I admire about IPS are, our community is always so supportive to each other and our contribution to our school’s environment and care for wellbeing.
This year I will strive to lead our house to success. GO CONDER!
Hello IPS community!
My name is Kieran McKissack, and I am the teacher in charge of our current peer leaders of 2025.
To say we have a lot of helpers would be an understatement, as we have over 70 students in both Grade 5 and 6 who have volunteered one lunch time every week until the end of term 1! All of this to assist the challenging transition of our preps to their new IPS environment through future leaders who demonstrate and embody our school values.
To say these numbers are remarkable would be an understatement but goes to show how these students feel about supporting others and ensuring our new school additions have support around them to be both guides and new friends.
In last weeks’ newsletter, we shared with you some of our Peer Leaders in action.
This week I thought I would try and capture all present Peer Leaders (18.2.25) for a whole group photo.
A word for our Peer Leaders. This program does not run without you, so thank you all for your support and effort. It does not go unnoticed.
I look forward to continuing to work with all Peer Leaders as we progress through the first parts of 2025, and beyond!
Keep up the amazing work everyone!
Kieran McKissack
