Senior School Swimming Carnival 2025
On Friday 7 February, Girton Grammar School hosted its highly anticipated Senior School Swimming Carnival, a day filled with athleticism, team spirit and fierce competition. Students from all year levels came together to showcase their swimming prowess, cheer for their Houses, and celebrate school spirit and camaraderie in an unforgettable event.
The competition saw some remarkable performances in the pool, as students raced for not only individual glory but also for the prestigious Spirit Cup.
In a thrilling conclusion, Jones House claimed the Spirit Cup by the narrowest of margins, edging out Millward House by just half a point. Millward House gave it their all throughout the day but could not quite close the gap, as Jones House maintained unwavering enthusiasm and support from start to finish. Aherne House, finishing in third, also stood out for their excellent spirit and determination.
