Year 3/4 Learning Reflection

Students in 4A have been working on reading fluently. This week, we’ve been reading 'Rainy Day, Sunny Day' and practising words with the /ae/ sound.
This week, during handwriting practice, students have been working on writing lowercase letters with proper sizing and formation.
This week in Phonics, students have been focusing on the /ae/ sound. Each day, they participate in different activities and explore books that help reinforce their understanding of this sound.
Students in 3B participated in a team-building activity where they worked together to construct a tower using spaghetti.
This week in Social and Emotional Learning, students have been collaborating to create freeze frames that represent different emotions.
Students in Grades 3 and 4 have been exploring our author study for the term Eve Bunting. They enjoyed reading some of her books and went on a craft hunt to discover unique and interesting craft techniques she uses in her books.
