Performing Arts

Stagestruck, CHPS annual variety concert, was a huge success this week with over 350 people in attendance and over 100 students performing including our Choir, Rockband, Dance club, Our OSHC Performing Arts club and a special duet performance by our Performing Arts team Miss Fell and Mr King.

The calibre of talent keeps rising every year and we can’t wait to put on another show for our school community. A special thank you to all of the parents who volunteered to help with set up and front of house duties and especially Glen Barnett for assisting with lighting and tech. Thank you to our specialist teachers for helping to set up the stage. Thank you to Clarelle Kally and Jessica Stevens for their work with the Rockband and OSHC Performing Arts Club respectively.

Please note: This is a guide as we are always unsure how long it will take for the last runner to finish the previous race.

In order for this event to run smoothly, we require assistance from parents/carers to help with standing on checkpoints so students know where to run and also on the finish line, handing out place cards and ribbons. If you are available for the morning and would like to assist, can you please email Jayne Beith at jayne.beith@education.vic.gov.au

A compass event will also be posted soon for parents/carers to consent for the event.

State Netball

Congratulations to our Mixed Netball Team who made it all the way to the State Finals on Tuesday. They ended up playing off in the grand final and just falling short. Either way, it is an incredible achievement and we are extremely proud of their efforts.
