We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Price (Currently Year 12 Leading Teacher) to his new role as Acting Assistant Principal for Years 7/8 starting Term 4.
With his wealth of experience, dedication to student success, and passion for fostering a positive learning environment, we are very excited to have Liam continuing in the Student Engagement and Wellbeing as an Assistant Principal. Mr. Argall will be moving into his new position as Assistant Principal - Teaching and Learning, starting Term 4. He wanted to thank all the students, families and staff for the wonderful experiences and relationships built during his time as Year 7/8 Assistant Principal.
A big thank you to all the families and students who attended our Parent Teacher Day in Week 9! It was a fantastic success, and we truly appreciated the opportunity to connect with you, share and strengthen our partnerships. Your involvement plays a crucial role in supporting our students' growth and learning, and we look forward to continuing to work together throughout the rest of the year. If you missed the opportunity to meet with any of your child’s teachers - please don’t hesitate to reach out to any of the Horsham College team.
Last week, we held a fantastic Wellbeing Expo right here at Horsham College to mark R U OK? Day 2024. From practical resources, fun activities and friendly chats, it was a day dedicated to promoting mental health and fostering a supportive community.
A huge shoutout to everyone who participated and contributed to making the event a success. Your enthusiasm and openness helped create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where we all felt empowered to check in with ourselves and each other.
Remember, checking in with someone and asking "Are you okay?" can make a world of difference. Let's keep the conversation going and continue to support one another every day.
