Neurokin Microfestival
Sunday September 29, 2024
Have you ever been in a neurodivergent led space where you felt safe and comfortable to just be yourself and were able to connect with other like-minded people?
Autistic artist and founder of Australia's first neurodiversity arts festival, Louise 'Rockabilby' Cooper is bringing Neurokin Microfestival to Horsham on Sunday September 29, 10am-12pm and would love to meet the wonderful Autistic, ADHD and neurodivergent folks of the Wimmera.
With an array of sensory cubbies, bubbles, creative activities, silent disco headphones, a book nook and author reading of 'Welcome Neurokin, I am Autistic' at 10.30am followed by the opportunity to design your own sensory space, it's time for neurodivergent folks to take over Horsham Neighbourhood House
In the afternoon, (2-4pm) Louise will hold a networking session with neurodivergent artists to learn about how to create more accessible spaces and practices for both ourselves and our audiences. We will also discuss how you can get involved in Neurokin Festival 2025!
Tickets just $20!! (And yes, you may be able to use your NDIS funding.)
