This week, 85 Year 10 students from our school have taken the exciting step of participating in Horsham College’s Year 10 Work Experience Week, exploring a variety of industries and gaining valuable insights into potential future careers.
From trades and hospitality to health care and business, our students have had the opportunity to experience real-world work environments. This week has provided them with hands-on learning, allowing them to apply skills from the classroom and develop new ones along the way. Not only are they building professional experience, but they are also enhancing important life skills like communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.
We are incredibly proud of the initiative and enthusiasm shown by all the students as they step out of their comfort zones and explore career pathways.
A big thank you to the local businesses and organizations who have partnered with us to make this experience possible. Their support is invaluable in helping our students gain meaningful exposure to the workforce.
As the week comes to a close, we look forward to hearing more about their experiences and how this opportunity will shape their future aspirations.
Well done to all of our Year 10 students!
