Year 12 News

Kristin Pfitzner & Nick Rigas | Year 12 Coordinators

Congratulations

Well done to all Year 12s on reaching the end of Term 3! We are impressed by the sustained efforts of students as they finalise coursework and assessments. It really is a busy time of the year!

A special congratulations to Molly Abbott, Tegan Gross, Sienna Walsgott and Regan Woodhart who have achieved the maximum scores possible for their Term 3 Interim Reports.

Holiday revision sessions

For scored VCE students, a reminder that a range of subjects have revision sessions or practice exams scheduled throughout the semester break. It is recommended that you attend these sessions to access additional teacher support. We look forward to seeing you there!

Students will be provided with their holiday revision timetable this week via a hard copy and on SEQTA.

Exit process for unscored students

For students completing an unscored VCE, it is important that you complete all Work Requirements to a satisfactory standard. Once you have completed these it is possible to exit school and begin the next stage of your life. Students will be able to exit early if they have completed all Work Requirements to a satisfactory standard, completed all exit paperwork (must have a confirmed pathway) and meet with the Year 12 Team.

This also applies to all Vocational Major students. It is important for VM students to gain credits in all units and complete their required VET hours.

Valedictory and Awards Evening – Friday 13th December

Each Year 12 student will receive three tickets for this evening: one for themselves and two for additional guests. Should you require extra tickets due to family circumstances, please contact Mr Price via direct message on SEQTA explaining your situation. Please note that while we will do our best to accommodate such requests, additional tickets cannot be guaranteed and will be allocated on a case-by-case basis.

Year 12 students are also encouraged to nominate themselves to assist with decorating the hall for the evening.

Health and Wellbeing

At this stage of the year, we encourage students to look after themselves. Mental and physical health is very important. Make sure the balance is right between study, work, and play. We encourage everyone to get outside and enjoy the Spring weather!

The Year 12 Team also thanks the ‘support team’ behind each individual student as we head towards the finish line. Your efforts are very much appreciated!
