Tim Pitt & Taylor Shelley | Year 11 Coordinators
As the end of year approaches our Year 11 students are already starting to think towards 2025 – their final year of secondary educations. This week a number of processes have started in preparation for the new year.
School Captain Nominations
Application forms are available from the Year 11 team to apply for School Captain. Applications close at 9am on Monday 7th October (this is the first day of term 4). The application is due to Ms Amor (fully completed with signatures and teacher references). There is also a video (60-90 seconds) - an unlisted youtube clip that needs to be submitted. Voting will take place during week 2 of next term. No late applications will be accepted, as all applications and videos have to be approved before a ballot in Week 2.
House leader nominations
Students have received a direqt message outlining the process for applying for house leader for 2025. This is another great opportunity for students to exhibit their leadership skills. We are looking forward to seeing the future leaders of McLachlan, Briggs, Darlot and Hall!
Year 12 Polo Tops and Rugby Jumpers
Students will have received 2 order forms in form group - one for the rugby jumper and one for the polo. Please note that payment must be made when you submit your order forms to the office - these close at the end of the first week back. As we want the jumpers and polos to arrive prior to the end of the year these dates are not flexible.
Senior School Information Booklet
Students have received an updated senior school information booklet that outlines everything you need to know as a student and parent/guardian about the VCE. We encourage you to read through this and keep it as a useful reference as your student moves into their final year of schooling.
