Best Under 21 Senior Player: Emma Uebergang - Interview
Congratulations to Emma for being recognised as the Best Under 21 Senior Player!
What is your favourite position?
Goal Attack because you get to shoot goals and get to run around the court a little bit.
Was it your first year playing A grade netball? What was it like playing with and against experienced netballers?
It was a little intimidating at the beginning of the season but I had a really amazing coach who helped me overcome the nerves so I could do my best on the court!
Did you play both junior and senior netball this year?
Yes, I played both. I liked playing A grade for the competition and speed of the game but, it was fun to play the junior games with my friends. I am hoping that I will be able to do both again next year - it’s a lot of fun!
How did you feel when you realised that you had won the Best Under 21 Senior Player?
I was surprised that I won, I always thought that there were better players than me in the competition!
