Foundation - Spotlight on Learning

On Monday 14th October, the Foundation and Grade Three students are going to Bunjil Place to see 'Waru - The Journey of the Turtle'. Foundation will depart at 9:30am and return to school by 12:30pm (Foundation timetable for the day is different to Grade Three).

We are looking for parents that would like to come along and assist on our excursion. You must have a Working With Children Check and be able to complete the Child Safe Induction at school prior to the excursion date. We have limited parent tickets available for helpers so we thank you for offering your time, we would love to have everyone, however if we have too many people offer we may need to say no to you. Thank you for your understanding around this.

On Thursday St John's Ambulance came and taught us about DRS - Danger, Response and Send for Help! We learnt when we should call 000 and how to help when there is an emergency!

Mathematics:  We are learning about teen numbers, for example, 19 is 10 and 9 more.

English: Sh as in shut, rush, mash and shin.

Religious Education: We are learning about God's love and how we can be more like God wants us to be.

Auslan: We are continuing to revise all of the signs we have learnt this year.

No toys, stickers or pencil cases at school, please!

• Friday 20th September - Last day of Term Three  - Students invited to wear sports clothes of their favourite team
