PE:

We are very excited to have the new court surface to have our PE classes on.

The junior classes have started with games such as line tiggy, octopus, fruit salad and then small team activities revising our throwing and catching skills.

The grade 3-6 classes are loving their warm up tag activities and then we are progressing with ball skills moving onto Volleyball in the next few weeks. We managed to get a Sporting Schools Grant which is being spent on Volleyball nets and balls.

ART

We have been super busy late last term experimenting with a variety of printing techniques.

The P-2 students used lots of objects to print with to create some fantastic scenes using bottle caps, sponges, sticks etc. Check them all out below or visit the office foyer to see some up close!

They also had a lot of fun with one of my personal favourite printing techniques ... the blob print! Each print is unique and look so much like butterflies, so we cut them out and created paper collage butterfly gardens, each artwork is so colourful and bright! See them displayed in our multipurpose room.

Foam sheets and printing ink was the focus for the Year 3-6s, and the radial prints made from one square foam design are striking...  check them out in the foyer or gallery of our multipurpose room!
