 Did you know 6 tonnes of clothing are discarded every 10 minutes  in Australia? Join The Clothing Exchange & Village Greening for the inaugural Fairfield Clothing Exchange.

What is the Fairfield Clothing Exchange?

Bring up to eight items of gently used clothes/shoes/accessories to swap with others, refresh your wardrobe, and support sustainability. After dropping off your items, enjoy information stands, a mending workshop, and a glass of refreshing lemonade.

• When: Sunday 27 October
• Drop-off time: 2.30 - 3.30pm. (Please arrive for the drop off time otherwise your items may not be accepted.)
• Swapping/exchange: 3.30 - 5:30pm
• Where: FPS Gym
• What: Adult clothes only (all sizes and genders)
• This is a free event but please register at the link below

What to Bring:

• Tops, shirts, blouses and jackets
• Pants, jeans and shorts
• Skirts, dresses and suits
•  Shoes (no boxes)
•  Accessories - necklaces, belts, scarves, hats.

What not to bring:

• Wigs
• Underwear, socks and swimwear
• Sportswear and activewear
•  Costumes
•  Anything stained, torn or unclean
• Noticeably worn out, shabby, pilling or frayed items
