NOVEMBER MONTH OF HOLY SOULS
November is the month of Holy Souls. This year All Souls Day fell on Sunday 2nd November. Mass offering envelopes for our deceased are available at both doors.
How do we help the “holy souls”? The Catechism of the Catholic Church recommends prayer for the dead in conjunction with the offering of the Eucharistic Sacrifice and also encourages “almsgiving, indulgences and works of penance undertaken on behalf of the dead” (CCC #1032).
Let us not forget to pray for our dear departed,
have Masses offered for them, visit their graves
and make daily sacrifices for them.
God can foresee and apply the merits of our prayers, penances and works of charity,
done even years after their death, for our departed dear ones,
in favour of our deceased dear ones, at the moment of their deaths.
AUSTRALIAN CATHOLIC YOUTH FESTIVAL
We are pleased to announce that seven students from St Augustine’s College Kyabram will be attending the Australian Catholic Youth Festival from 30th November to 3rd December in Melbourne. They will be accompanied by Brendon Lane and Samantha Norris. We thank these students for volunteering to attend this special occasion and pray that the Holy Spirit will bless and inspire them.
COLUMBAN CALENDARS AVAILABLE
There are 2026 Columban calendars now available for sale in the piety store for $10 each.

We have wooden scroll calendars 2026 available in the Piety Store in the Gathering Space at the Church. $15 each - four different designs. All money raised will go to St Augustine's Parish.
CCR ‘PILGRIMAGE TO BETHLEHEM’ RENEWAL DAY
Join Catholic Charismatic Renewal for a Pilgrims of Hope Renewal Day: ‘Pilgrimage to Bethlehem’. Talks and Charismatic Mass celebrated by Fr Arun Korlakanti, Spiritual Chaplain of CCR Sandhurst.
Saturday 29th November 2025 - 9.30 am (Cuppa) to 3.30 pm. Mons Peter Jeffrey Centre, St Brendan’s, Shepparton.
Lunch: Please bring a plate to share.
An offering will be taken up.

YEAR 12 GRADUATION MASS
The Year 12 Graduation Mass will be held on Thursday 20th November at 6.00pm. Congratulations to all Year 12 students as they have reached this important milestone. Please pray for them as they embark on a new chapter in their lives.
WELCOME TO NEW FAMILIES MASS AND DINNER
All families are warmly invited to a Welcome Mass on Saturday, 22nd November at 6.00pm to greet and celebrate our new parishioners. Following Mass, there will be a shared community dinner in the Gathering Space.
We invite everyone to bring a plate to share and enjoy an evening of fellowship and welcome. We look forward to seeing you there.
FAREWELL TO MAURIE AND ANGELA FINN
A farewell morning tea will follow 8.30am Mass on Sunday 30th November for Maurie and Angela Finn. Maurie and Angela have lived in our Parish for many years and contributed generously to our Parish Community through many ministries. You are invited to celebrate their dedication and wish them farewell as they continue with their retirement in Yea.
ST PATRICKS GRADUATION MASS
St Patrick’s Graduation Mass will be held on Thursday 11th December at 9.00am.
