From the Principal

Dear Parents, Carers and Members of the St Augustine’s College Community,

As we move through the second half of Term 4, it’s a wonderful opportunity to pause and reflect on what has been an extraordinary year at St Augustine’s College. Across all year levels, our students have embraced their learning through the Magnify Programs, grown in confidence and contributed to our community in so many positive ways. From academic success and creative achievements to sporting efforts and service initiatives, 2025 has been a year of growth, resilience and community spirit.

Our teachers are currently busy finalising assessments and report writing, carefully reviewing student progress and celebrating the learning that has taken place throughout the year. This important process ensures that each student receives feedback that both acknowledges their achievements and guides their next steps.

There is much to look forward to in the coming weeks as we celebrate the culmination of another school year. Our Year 12 students are currently completing their VCE exams and preparing for their Graduation Mass and Dinner - significant milestones marking the end of their time at St Augustine’s. We also look ahead to our annual Awards Ceremony, a time to recognise the effort, excellence and dedication shown by our students across all areas of school life.

For our Years 10 and 11 students, the upcoming exam period and Early Commencement Program provide valuable opportunities to consolidate learning and prepare for the challenges of 2026.

As we approach the Advent season, our attention begins to turn towards Christmas - a season of hope, joy and renewal. It is a time to give thanks for the many blessings of our year together and to look forward with optimism and faith to the year ahead.

Planning is well underway for 2026, and we are excited by the possibilities that lie ahead as we continue to strengthen our learning programs and build on the strong sense of community that defines St Augustine’s College.

Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership in your child’s education.

Warm regards,

Tim Campbell
