EASTERN METROPOLITIAN REGION ATHLETICS CARNIVAL: 

Congratulations to our eight exceptional athletes who proudly represented our school at the Eastern Metropolitian Region Track and Field Carnival on Thursday 23rd October at Tom Kelly Athletics Track, Doncaster.

Our students demonstrated outstanding determination, teamwork, and sports-personship as they competed against some of the finest athletes from across the Eastern Region which is widely regarded as one of the strongest in the State.

Results:

• Lucy M (9/10 Girls) – 9th, Shot Put
• Zach C (11 Boys) – 6th, Hurdles
• Harvey G (11 Boys) – 6th place, Long Jump
• Luca S (12/13 Boys) – 6th place, Discus

• 9/10 Girls Relay Team (Summer M, Milla C, Zahli C, Poshiya S) – 2nd place (Silver Medal), 4x100m Relay

   

A special congratulations to our 9/10 Girls Relay Team for their incredible silver-medal performance! After a thrilling and closely contested photo finish, the team secured 2nd place and has now qualified for the State Track and Field Carnival to be held on Thursday 30th October at Lakeside Athletics Track.

We are extremely proud of all our athletes for their dedication, effort, and school spirit. Best of luck to our relay team as they take on the State’s best next week, we’ll all be cheering you on!
