From the Classroom

Physical Education
In Physical Education, Foundation students have been exploring a variety of equipment including bats, racquets, paddles, sticks, and noodles as part of our “Strike That Ball” unit. They have been learning the two-handed strike and developing their coordination and control skills. Most importantly, they’ve had lots of fun while learning how to use the equipment safely and responsibly.
Performing Arts
In Performing Arts, the Year 1 and 2 students have been exploring various topics to create drama acts and perform them to the class. Last week the students created acts about magical creatures and superpowers using facial expressions and full body movement. In the following photos the Year 2 students performed as goblins, magicians and witches, superheroes and super villains!
Visual Art
In Art, Year 4 students have been busy learning to weave. They made their own weaving looms and aim to weave a piece of fabric large enough to turn into an owl wall hanging.
Mandarin
In response to the Chinese cultural performances experienced on the Chinese Culture Day in Term 3, Year 5 & 6 students worked in groups to research one aspect of the culture. They created a PPT presentation and confidently shared their knowledge with their peers.
