Each week we love to celebrate any students who may have achieved something significant during the past week; sporting events, dancing, baptisms, theatre, music achievements, new babies etc. both inside school and outside school.
Please email reception@dcs.tas.edu.au with the details (we would love a photo too!) so we can celebrate together as a community.

Long Jump Champion
Sienna H (Year 6) represented DCS at the Tasmanian All Schools Track & Field championships on the weekend in Launceston. She competed in long jump, jumping a massive personal best of 4.74m! Sienna won 1st place and will now be representing Tasmania at the School Sport Australia Primary Track & Field Championships in Canberra in 3 weeks time.
Sienna also tried out and has been selected to compete for Tasmania in basketball at the Australian Country Junior Basketball Cup in Albury Wodonga in January next year.
Congratulations Sienna on both of your sporting achievements and we will be cheering you on for your next events!
