Year 9 Photography Session

Last Friday the 7th of November, a group of Year 9 students took part in a photography session based on portraits. The Year 9 students learned about the history of cameras, photos and how far the technology has come since the 1800’s. They also got to see firsthand the influence of lighting on portraits where they got to dress up in different costumes and play around with different coloured lights. All together the session was a great balance of historical learning and engaging photo shoots where the students had a lot of fun.

Year 7/8  Sports Day

On Monday, our Year 7 and 8 students enjoyed a fantastic Sports Day with Leighland Christian School at the Ulverstone Recreation Centre. Students were placed in mixed teams and competed in basketball, soccer, volleyball, and brain games throughout the day.

It was a wonderful opportunity for students to build friendships, develop teamwork skills, and connect with peers from another school community. The energy, encouragement, and sportsmanship shown by all students made it a memorable and uplifting day!

Kmart Christmas Tree Appeal

We had the privilege of our Vocal Ensemble launching this year’s Kmart Christmas Tree Appeal in support of the Salvation Army. Under the direction of Mr Robb Dennis and accompanied by Mrs Kristen Cox, the students sang beautifully, bringing joy to shoppers and helping spread the message of hope and generosity this Christmas season.
