Whole School Opening Mass

Friday, 23rd February

Friday, February 23rd, we came together to celebrate our whole school Opening Mass.  Our students demonstrated great reverence and participation as they joined in with the beautiful singing and responses throughout the Mass.

Going to Mass as a whole school community brings us great joy and from the level of participation from all our students, we are very proud to be a Parish school.

Our new school theme ‘Behold, I make all things new’ was on full display out the front and Father Jackson blessed our new class candles, ready to be used for our daily prayer focus each day, reminding us of the light of Jesus guiding us through the day.

Thank you to all the staff who contributed to the planning and delivery of the Mass and to our amazing and musically talented teacher, Mrs Angela Collins and our choir who led the whole school in a wonderful display of singing and music!

Thank you! Thank you to our Parish priest, Father Joe Taylor  and Associate Priest, Father Jackson Saunders, we are very BLESSED to have you both presiding over our school Masses and we look forward to future Masses with you both this year.

Thank you to all the parents and family members who could attend.  It was lovely to see our beautiful church full with so many happy faces, a wonderful way to start the new school year.

Solidarity Walk

We look forward to see as many parents and friends join us all for tomorrow’s fundraising event for CARITAS, our annual Solidarity Walk.

Parents can join their child as they walk around with buckets of sand raising an awareness for those who have to walk kilometres daily to collect fresh water to wash, clean and cook with.

Let’s put COMPASSION INTO ACTION and WALK IN SOLIDARITY for CARITAS.
