Wellbeing Report
The Resilience Project
This year we are proud to be partnering with The Resilience Project.
The resilience project organisation is committed to teaching positive mental health strategies to prevent mental ill health and build young people’s capacity to deal with adversity.
As part of the initiative, students will engage in lessons during their Extended Pastoral time, with activities centred around their core principles of Gratitude, Empathy, Mindfulness (GEM) and Emotional Literacy to build resilience.
As part of our partnership we also get access to the Resilient Youth Survey, which is a highly regarded Student Voice tool, allowing us to monitor the mental health of our students and respond by establishing whole school approach strategies. The survey is anonymous and voluntary. You will be emailed more information about this.
Over the coming weeks and months, we will also share many resources available to you as parents and carers, by gaining access to the Parent Hub.
Our staff will be completing professional development over the coming weeks to enable them to delivery the concepts and lesson content with confidence.
Please have a look at the attached PDFs, or head to their website to find out more.
