Pope Francis Lenten message

Pope Francis has centred his Lenten message for 2024 on the Book of Exodus, choosing “Through the Desert God Leads Us to Freedom” as its main theme to encourage the faithful that the Lenten season is a journey to spiritual renewal and freedom.

Reconciliation Workshop: 

The Year 3 children will receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation.  This Sacrament is also known as the Sacrament of Confession.  The Year 3 children, parents and carers will engage in an online workshop on Thursday 14th March at 7.00pm.  Maria Forde will facilitate this workshop.

Reconciliation Celebration: The Reconciliation celebration will take place on Thursday the 21st of March at 7.00pm at St Fidelis' church.

Buddy Mass:

Thank you to all the Foundation and Year 5/6 families who attended mass on Sunday.  It was great to see so many excited children attend this special celebration.  This is an important part of your child's faith journey and it also provides both our existing and new families the opportunity to come together and celebrate. 

Caritas Australia

Caritas Australia is a worldwide organisation.  Caritas serves the mission of the Catholic Church to serve the poor and promote charity and justice throughout the world. Your generous support can help change the lives of some of the world’s most vulnerable people. Join us this Lent to raise much needed funds for people living in poverty.  Together, we can make a difference now, for all future generations.  All donations are greatly appreciated and go towards a very worthy cause. During Lent our social justice leaders Xena and Thomas have organised a few fund raises to raise funds for project compassion. News from our social justice leaders.

Icy pole fundraiser Friday 15th March.

On Friday the 15th of March, all icy poles will cost $2.00 each.  Half of the money raised on this day will be donated to Project compassion. We hope that your kind generosity will help us raise much needed funds for project compassion.

Coloured clothes day

On Thursday the 28th of March, we will be holding a casual clothes day at school. On this day you can wear casual clothes and you are asked to donate a gold coin donation. All money donated will go towards project compassion. The social justice team together with your support aim to raise over $500.00.

Class Mass: 

This Tuesday the 5th of March at 9.15am, 3/4SH and 5/6MC will be attending mass.  We invite parents and carers to attend this special celebration.
