Maths Night

As Mr Carlyle has mentioned in his weekly message, the Maths Action team comprising of Mrs Griffith, Miss L, Mr Ross, Miss Nicholls and Mr Moneghetti can't wait to welcome you to our annual Maths Night on Wednesday 20th March in the Grade 1/2 building. Starting at 5.30pm, we'll have puzzles, new games, old favourite games, Maths food, guessing competitions and a whole lot more fun. Save the date in your calendars and we can't wait to see you there!

Literacy challenge of the week

Can you name a word containing three consecutive double letters?

For example - bookkeeper.

If you can work out an answer, please come and let Mr Baker know. Good luck!

Book Club

Scholastic Book Club is a service offered to students, parents and teachers. Brochures advertising a variety of books and computer software are sent home with each student, approximately twice a term.

Purchase of the books is not compulsory and there is no obligation. If you do wish to purchase any goods simply log into the Book Club site www.scholastic.com.au/LOOP and follow the prompts. All Book Club orders must be ordered and paid for via LOOP. Do not send order forms and cash to school. When the order arrives at school, books are sent home with students.

The School earns “Bonus Points” for each order which can be used to purchase new resources for classroom libraries and the school library.

We are still awaiting Issue 1 orders to arrive at school. Hopefully that will be very soon so students can read their new books.

Issue 2 is now available for ordering online and you can view the catalogue online as well. Paper versions of the Issue 2 catalogue will be coming home shortly. Issue 2 orders are due by Tuesday 12th March, 2024.

Click here for the Scholastic Book Club Parent Log in page or to register for new users.
