Level 6

We're a great mix in Level 6!

Welcome to 2025

Welcome back to another wonderful school year! 2025 is the year to thrive! We have had a tremendous positive start to Level 6, with the students settling in well. It has been great to see students connecting with new and old friends, and getting to know everybody in the class.

Positive Start Program

For the first 6 days of term, each class has been participating in the Positive Start Program. This program allows each class to set up their class culture and expectations, and to get to know everyone. Students have been working together to co-construct 'rules' and expectations for the class and have been focussing on how we embed the school values into each class. In addition to this, the Positive Start Program provides an opportunity to celebrate everyone in each class and get to know people. It has been great seeing every student express themselves in different ways, and to find common interests amongst the students and teachers.

Information Evening

On Thursday the 6th of February, there will be an information evening held in the BER middle space, for Level 6 parents. Please attend if you would like to learn more about how to support your child's learning at home. The Information session will commence at 6:30pm. We hope to see you there!

Open Classroom

This Friday the 7th of Feb, classrooms will be open from 3:00 - 3:30. Parents and families are welcome to visit your child's classroom, to meet the teacher and look at what your child has been up to in the past week. Please enter through your child's external classroom door (the black door). We would love to see you there!

Reminders

  • Hats! Every student is required to wear a hat when outdoors. If your child has misplaced their hat, please ensure that you provide them with one. Please also name your child's hat so that it is easy to return to them if they lose it.
  • iPad agreement - every student in Level 6 has been sent home an iPad agreement. Students cannot use their iPad until this is signed by them and a parent. Please ensure that you read through the agreement, to familiarise yourself with the school policy and procedures.
  • Sports top - Most students should already have a sports top from last year, however, if your child does not have one, please purchase one through Spartans. All students require a sports top for Gala Days.

Contacting your child's teacher:

If you need to contact your child's teacher at any stage, you can contact them via Compass. Alternatively, you can come in and speak with them between 8:30 - 8:50 or after school. Please arrange a time with your child's teacher beforehand.

Nude Food Friday:

This year we will continue Nude Food Friday. As a waste-wise school, we aim to reduce our rubbish and care for our environment. Please support your child in remembering to pack a rubbish-free lunch box every Friday.

Icy Poles for sale:

This year, the Level 6s will be selling icy poles to fundraise for their Graduation. Icy poles will be sold every Monday and Tuesday lunch, outside the canteen, for $1.
