CATHLOIC EDUCATION SANDURST – 2025 Theme: Pilgrams of Hope
2025 is a Jubilee Year in the Catholic Church. Such a time is dedicated to reflecting on our faith and to focus on our spiritual life. Therefore, the Catholic Sandhurst is aligning its yearly theme with this special occasion within the Catholic Church. Pope Francis has invited us to become “Pilgrams of Hope”, we are encouraged to spread this message as we embark on a journey filled with hope.
JOSEPHINE BAKHITA FEAST DAY - 8th February
2025 - SACRAMENTAL PROGRAM: Sacrament of Eucharist & Confirmation.
Parents with students who have met the prerequisite conditions necessary to continue with our school sacramental journey in Grade 3 should have received an email towards the end of term 4 inviting them to participate in a pre-registration sacramental evening. This will take place ONLINE next Thursday evening. All responses to this survey have been noted and parents wishing to attend the pre-registration information session will receive a TEAMS meeting invitation on Wednesday. If you do not receive a meeting link, please contact Jo Thurley ASAP on Thursday morning. Likewise, if you believe you should have been included and did not receive the survey email last year, make contact with us ASAP.
BEGINNING of SCHOOL YEAR MASS – Wednesday 5th February @ 9.15am
Our beginning of school year mass will be held this coming Wednesday 5th February. Sadly, Fr Minh will no longer be our school and parish Priest, he has taken up an opportunity to continue his missionary work in Kerang and surrounding area. On a positive note, we welcome Fr Boniface, who comes to us from Rutherglen. We look forward to meeting our new Priest and encourage families to come along and join us in welcoming Fr Boniface to Holy Rosary at our whole school Mass.
