End of Year Activities

For the final week of school, our Year 7, 8 and 9 students had the chance to let their hair down and opt-in to a variety of in-school activities and excursions.

Each day, students had the opportunity to attend excursions to Funfields and Melbourne Zoo. If these did not suit their fancy, students were offered a large range of in-school activities. This year, each faculty offered three activities that students could participate in. From Science, we had Marble Runs, Bath Bomb making and Edible Science. From Art and Tech, we had Pour and Paint, Laser Cut Ornaments and Wobble Bots. From Health and PE, we had a Fitness Circuit, 3x3 Basketball and Minor Games. We also had other fun activities such as Laser Tag in the COLA and our walks to Lewis, Llewellyn and Koomba Park.

On Wednesday, we also had our annual Gumbya trip. As part of the College's drive to improve attendance, students who reached a school attendance figure of 95% and over were rewarded with the opportunity to attend Gumbaya World Theme park. It is a great opportunity for students to wind down and ease in to their holidays, enjoying the company of staff and their peers during these exciting activities.

End of Year Activities Week is a perfect balance of play and relaxation and students (and staff) enjoyed some great conversations to finish off a great year.

All the students participated incredibly well and showed respect and kindness, creating new friendships and making core memories that they will cherish for a lifetime.

We wish all families a safe and restful holiday.
