Year 7

In Week 10, Year 7 has been designing and constructing their Rube Goldberg machines. Using the elements of simple machines and their understanding of forces, there was an amazingly creative array of machines constructed that included pulleys, inclined planes, force-multiplying levers, and friction and frictionless planes. The purposes were as varied as swinging hammers, wind vanes, tow trucks, windlasses, traps (a little bit dastardly!), various contraptions for popping balloons (also a little bit dastardly!), merry-go-rounds, and ball-catchers. Well done, everyone!
